- My Vilia Avto & First Roll Photos Taken With The Vilia Avto...

At 1st I wasn't that interested to do anymore film photography not until comes the LOMO exhibition at "The Mall". Since then, after a few glimpse on the pictures taken by some of the Lomographers posted on Flickr, I've decided to get a film camera for my self.

The Camera was bought from Retroman for BND$175. I think its worth the price since the camera is originally came all the way from Russia (the whole thing, body & lens are from Russia). 1st production was in the year 1973 and ends on the year 1985. When u look at the camera, its almost the same as LOMO Symbol or LOMO Smena 8 but I still preffer to choose this. Why? Because the body & lens is made of metal, not like the Smena 8 I saw, was of plastic. Another thing why I choose this camera is because of the auto aperture selection, can be found just below the lens, 5 selection of white balance & it has a range finder.

The Looks....

The 1st roll photos taken using the Vilia Avto...Expired Fuji film ISO200.

Pros:
Have auto aperture selection
Flash hot shoe can be use (my flash can be sync with the camera)
Have white balance dial setting
Very solid body

Cons:
Uncomfortable shutter button position
No shutter speed selection
